Former Experience

allowed her the opportunities to teach school in Georgia,
Texas, South Carolina, and the Department of Defense
Dependents Schools (DODDS) in 3 regions of Germany.
In addition, she's taught GED preparation courses and
domestic violence prevention classes to U.S. Army personnel.
Selma was also fortunate to serve as a school programs
coordinator with a start-up children's museum.
An entrepreneur, she founded and directed the Joy full Music
Group for piano and voice lessons in 1995. Joy full Music
Group was eventually renamed Joy Full after adding other
educational programs such as summer camp programs,
choral music workshops, and an after-school group piano
keyboarding program. Along with her daughter, she has
published the Selma Dean Team blog and newsletter for
emotional healing since 2015.
Selma's passion for pastoral and community counseling
evolved during 42 years in church ministry. Her services
included Bible teacher, musician and choir
director, music director, and Christian educator.
